Putnam Township is a township in the southwest corner of Livingston County. The township hall (3280 W M-36, Pinckney, MI 48169; (734) 878-3131; web) has administrative offices.

Pinckney and Hell are located in Putnam Township. The Pinckney State Recreation Area and Gregory State Game Area are public lands available for recreational use.
