Despite significant opportunities, the communities along Washtenaw Avenue including the City of Ann Arbor, PIttsfield Township, Ypsilanti Township and the City of Ypsilanti, have struggled to see the character of growth desired for the corridor, and experience pressure for greenfield development in outlying areas of their communities.
