A fragel is a cross between a donut and a bagel, a fried raisin bagel coated in cinnamon and sugar, served warm. MD Bagel Fragel  on Washtenaw Road is the local heir to this uniquely Michigan creation. This local bakery was once known as Sid's Bagel Fragel and was located on Plymouth road before being unceremoniously evicted in favor of a marijuana dispensary. Thankfully for the owners and fragel-loving community, they were able to relocate near Arborland Mall.
