The South University branch of the Post Office is located at 1214 S University Ave in the Galleria mall.
The branch had been included on a list of post offices to be closed in 2009, but was unaffected after local opposition to its closing.
The U.S. Postal Service office on South University in Ann Arbor has evaded closure, U.S. Rep. John Dingell announced today.
