Tecumseh Products (Nasdaq: TECU) is an Ann Arbor based manufacturer led by CEO Harold M. Karp. It was founded in 1934 by the late Ray Herrick, an industrialist who specialized in producing compressors for commercial refrigerators and air conditioners.

Originally located in Tecumseh, the company moved to Ann Arbor Township in 2008.

The Herrick Foundation, controlled by Todd Herrick, is a major dissident shareholder; it has been battling management plans to restructure the board.
