For Ann Arbor attorney and developer Michael Concannon, his experience in trying to secure a loan for his Gallery project at the site of the old Greek Orthodox church on North Main Street prompted him to established a new loan modification, mortgage origination and refinancing company, Professional Financial Solutions. He is currently going through the state certification process to become a mortgage broker in hopes of serving the emerging market for loan modifications. Much of his law practice work has centered on real estate finance as well, he said.
