Describe The Topper here    I remember eating lunch at The Topper back in 1969 after my morning  job when Huron and Pioneer High Schools had split shifts in the Pioneer building. It was very small, maybe 200 sq. ft. , with a  5 or 6 stool lunch counter facing the Kemph house and 2 and ½ booths. At lunch time it was standing room only but you could still place an order and get served. I believe it had a limited menu but I always had a hamburger, that was as good as a hamburger can be, and came with everything [lettuce, tomato, onions. mayo etc.]. While waiting for your order you could drink a root beer that was served in a frozen mug with frozen root beer foam coming down the sides.  Family owned Dad (cook), with Mom, a son and daughter as wait-staff/dishwashers. Amazing pie!
