The United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, otherwise known simply as UA, is based in Washington, DC. It holds an instructor training session at Washtenaw Community College each year in August, with about 2,500 visitors to the area in 2008.
