I was born and raised on the west side of Ann Arbor and attended Community High School. Then I ran away from Michigan for a good few years, living in Thailand, Baltimore, and Toronto before realizing that Michigan is a pretty darn good place to live and returning home. I have a B.A. from Kalamazoo College and an M.S. in Environmental Education, Behavior, and Communication from UM's School of Natural Resources. In 2011 I moved to Ypsilanti and fell in love with the city, and I don't plan on ever leaving.
