Ypsilanti Township’s Victory Academy charter school will not re-open for the 2012-13 school year after it failed to secure a new authorizer, Principal Kevin Whelan said.
Global Tech Academy at 1715 E. Forest Ave. in Ypsilanti Township will open to students this August. It's the site of the former charter school Victory Academy. The building is owned and operated by Global Educational Excellence, an Ann Arbor-based educational service provider that was founded in 1998.
