The Village 4, a second-run theater in the Maple Village shopping center, closed in 2005 after four years of operations. It had previously been known as the Fox Village Theater.
The theater originally opened in July 12, 1967, and was built at a cost of $500,000.
The location now houses Plum Market.

Owner Greg Urrutia said the theater was too expensive to run and it wasnt performing well enough to keep it going. I wish I could have kept it open, to be honest. The cost of doing business in Michigan nowadays is astronomical. It was costing me $8,000 a month to heat the place.
