The Candy Manufactory was dreamed up by Bakehouse pastry chef Charles Frank, who is now managing partner of the production facility and oversees a kitchen that produces more than 200,000 candy bars a year.

Originally part of the Zingerman's Bakehouse, the candy company officially formed this month under the leadership of managing partner Charlie Frank, the Bakehouse's former pastry manager.
