Description: PHD is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing professional counseling, education, and support services to anyone facing issues relating to pregnancy. Through intervention, PHD offers free counseling for anyone pregnant or parenting a child under three years old, support groups for single moms and family, adoption decision-making, post-abortion counseling and grief and loss counseling. Education programs include: Post Partum Depression, Shaken Baby Syndrome, budget counseling and parenting seminars. Motivate Prevention Programs include: Independence Highway® For ages 12-21, incorporates high-energy presentations with empowering, fact-based curriculum to teach students how to make healthy choices. Now We're Talking!® Enhances parent/adolescent communication on the topics of healthy sexuality and relationships. The Friendship Project: For ages 7-11, focuses on anti-bullying, character development and how to be a good friend.
