Celebrating locally grown produce, artisan goods and crafts, baked goods, and foremost the mountain heritage in Ashe County North Carolina. The Ashe County  Farmers Market is a covered open-air market located on the ‘Backstreet’ in West Jefferson.

Located in West Jefferson, NC the Ashe County Farmers Market operates every Saturday and Wednesday from 8AM-1 PM through the end of October, yearly on a seasonal basis. Local vendors provide a plethora of local goods including produce, baked goods, crafts of all types, jewelry, homemade soaps, goat cheese, fresh flowers and floral arrangements, nursery items, grass fed beef and pork, farm fresh eggs, local honey, whole chickens, wood carvings, fiber arts, photography and fine art, abbit/quail eggs, jellies and jams, and much more. Several cooking demonstrations and special holiday focused contests held throughout the season for consumer engagement.
