"Vietnamese Noodle Soup Restaurant"
This place is good, and a good value. A large bowl of pho is about the size of a bathtub, and costs about $8 depending on ingredients.
If you're not sure what to do, try the chicken vermicelli. You'll like it. Otherwise, standard practice is a regular bowl of pho with a few kinds of beef; an appetizer of fresh spring rolls and a cup of Vietnamese coffee go well with it. (Pho comes with a pile of basil, bean sprouts, cilantro, lime wedges, and a couple jalepeño slices — just throw most of it in there, along with a dab of each of the sauces.) Last time I was there, they were pushing the rice dishes, too, but I haven't tried them yet.
Nice touch: there are hard plastic chopsticks at the table (my preference), along with the usual Sriracha and hoisin sauce.
Menu
Actually, they do serve more than just pho.
Appetizers: The spring rolls were pretty good. Pho: beef (variations), chicken, shrimp. Vermicelli: Grilled beef, chicken, shrimp, and fried spring rolls, in various combinations. Rice: Check the chalkboard — the rice dishes are new and aren't on the printed menu yet. Drinks: Tea (various), coffee (various — authentic Vietnamese style), boba Dessert: (I don't remember.) They have durian and jackfruit!
