History
The library was established in 1893. The Stevens Family donated their family home to the village in 1893, It has grown over the years with the addition of a room to the front in 1970 and another room addition in 1992. In 2003 the library became a school district funded library and its name became Stevens Memorial Community Library. In 2018, on its 125 years operating, completed a renovation to make the library more accessible and update many features.
