Wahada may be Baton Rouge's best sushi. It's an unpretentious place- booths and semi-florescent lighting- but you can get lunch for under $10 and the sushi is good even by coastie standards. Outdoor terrace. It's the best face of the standard Americanized sushi bar kind of place- sushi and sashimi, very fresh, nothing off the wall like at Tsunami. It's a very short drive or bike from campus but probably too far to walk for most people, especially along inhospitable Nicholson. It's on Nicholson in a strip mall close to the corner of Nicholson and LSU/Brightside.
