Cafe Med as it is known claims to be the home of the Cafe Latte. As in, they invented it.
It is also renowned for the scene in The Graduate where Dustin Hoffman's character sits in a cafe in Berkeley. The cafe has character with Berkeley unusuals stopping by. There is also occasional live music playing. There are sockets for laptops in the top floor.
