NOEMA
Noema is a brand new
heavy metal band based out of Bloomington-Normal, IL. With former members of Trippswitch and Slavereign Nation, vocalist Justin Gravitt (
Trippswitch), guitarits Matt Campbell (
Trippswitch) and Jacob Wade (
Slavereign Nation), Drummer Nate Altes and Bassist Joe Jones, they collectively make up the group called Noema that is in hopes of playing gigs very shortly. Having many friends in the music scene, with bands such as
The Third Temple, As Blood Will Tell, Low Twelve, Shotgun Holiday and
Remedy to An End, and opening for
Mobile Deathcamp (w/ Todd "Beefcake" Evans from GWAR), amongst many others and all have had their share of stage and studio experience. Bringing a Trivium and a Killswitch Engage type of a sound to the music scene, merchandise on the way such as stickers, going to the studio very soon and a practice every Thursday, be on the look out for this group as they plan to hit the stage by 2011 as they plan to eventually play gigs outside of Bloomington-Normal, they stay true to their Sevendust/KSE/Trivium/Slayer roots, to bring a type of sound to the music scene that will be unique for all to hear.
