Boise has been known for its unique interest in art and its appeal to all types of families and individuals. For a tour through the richest neighborhoods of Boise, I would begin by taking everyone up to Table Rock and looking out over the city into what the layout of the valley looks like. I would look at how it started and where it has expanded today as a city. As the next step of the tour, I would move down the foothills and show the upper class people of Boise and the importance of the neighborhoods that have been in the hills for so many years. The road up to Table Rock is filled with some of the city’s older houses as well as the new houses that have recently been built and I would emphasize the price that people are willing to pay to have such a great view of the valley. I would then move down Warm Springs Avenue and show them the historical houses on that street that comprise a unique piece of Boise history. As we get to the end of Warm Springs, we would move back up into the foothills by the golf course and look at some of the richest neighborhoods that dominate the foothills surrounding Boise. Don't forget to go up "Pill Hill", another very rich neighborhood. It got its name because most of the rich doctors live there. Afterwards, we will head to Harrison Boulevard and show this older, richer area of Boise. A history of all of these neighborhoods would be important for the tour guests to understand what appeals to the wealthy and why these neighborhoods attract most of Boise’s wealthiest residents.
