LEED Certified Projects

Over the past five to six years, the construction in the Boise area has started to become more environmentally aware. The United States Green Building Council (USGBC) encourages the building of energy efficient buildings with the development of the Leadership in Energy and Environmentally Design (LEED) green building rating system.

The LEED Green Building Certification is a preeminent program for rating sustainable design, construction, and operation of green buildings. The LEED Certification is categorized into four different levels of efficiency that is used in the design and construction. The four levels are Certified, Silver, Gold and Platinum.

The following tour will give you the addresses of various buildings in the Boise area that have been certified LEED and built in the last couple of years.
