Miniature Golf - Boise

Looking to work on your short game, but tired of the expensive greens fees! Then get on down to one of Boise’s local miniature golf courses, Boise has a few different options that I assure will satiate anyone’s taste. One local hotspot is Wahooz Fun Center Located at 1385 S Blue Marlin Lane, Meridian, ID 83642, it has two separately themed 18 hole courses one of which that has a fire shooting tiki god, a simple but exciting attraction. For a minimal fee of $6.99 for adults and $4.99 for ages 8 and under will get you a round of miniature golf, but I highly recommend $12 dollar Tuesday in which you guessed it $12 dollars gets you unlimited miniature golf, laser tag, and free play of all non-ticket arcade games. The crowd tends to be a bit on the younger side, typically ages 8 to 12 but is to be expected for the type of establishment we are talking about. The facilities are flawlessly maintained every windmill, clowns mouth, and secret passage for your purple, pink, or blue golf ball worked as it did the day they opened. The hours are typical the doors open at 10:00 AM and close at 11:00 PM Monday through Saturday, and closed on Sundays. Another popular miniature golf course located in the valley is Shankz Glo-Par-Tee, which is located at 82 E. Fairview Meridian, ID 83642. It is limited to only one 18 hole course, but this one has a twist all 18 holes are under black light, and with the use of all black light activated paint all 18 holes are visually spectacular and sometimes make the hole more difficult than it should be. General admission is slightly higher than Wahooz but at $7.50 dollars per adult and $6.00 dollars for children under 12 and the elderly the extra .50 cents shouldn’t deter to many from walking through the doors. The Hours are currently 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Saturday and 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sundays. So don’t fuss with the cold, or allow the snow filled fairways and greens from keeping you from working on your short game, get on down to Wahooz or Shankz and I assure you come next summer golfing with your buddies you won’t regret it.
