Treasure Valley Children's Theater is a nonprofit organization located in downtown Meridian dedicated to providing quality theater experiences to youth. The TVCT company is a group of quality adult performers that put on plays and musicals suitable for children of all ages. TVCT offers acting classes for youth ages 3-18 (See  http://www.treasurevalleychildrenstheater.com/play/. for 2013-2014 schedule.) From the ever-popular 'Comedy Campus' to the  innovative class, 'A Stage of Change" for autistic spectrum youth, aspiring actors from all around the Treasure Valley will flock to this company's doorstep. Also available are private vocal lessons with instructor Leesa Williams.

Their sister company, Treasure Valley YOUTH Theater, allows youth to come on to the stage and experience the show biz for themselves. Their signature youth troupe program is a bi-annual program that offers 10-12 weeks of quality theater arts training with the Treasure Valley's finest performing arts instructors. Youth accepted into the troupe after auditioning will rehearse for 10-12 weeks to put on a fun musical. Be warned, however- these youth are not just cute kids on a stage! Their recent performance of 'Schoolhouse Rock, Live! Jr.' featured 16 youth ages 10-16 in a high energy show that had the entire audience on its feet.
