  • Boston Common: public park located centrally in downtown Boston and the oldest city park in the United States, part of the "Emerald Necklace" chain of parks designed by Frederick Olmstead. 5
  • Newbury Street: a stretch of eight blocks featuring boutiques and stores of world-class designers as well as popular retail stores 6
  • Quincy Market: located near Faneuil Hall in North End, popular site for shopping and dining 7
  • Boston Harbor: on the far North End of Boston, you can enjoy a walk along the harbor or take a ferry out to one of the many Boston Harbor Islands 8
  • North End: a small area devoted to Italian cuisine and shopping, home to the famous cannoli shop Mike's Pastry 9
  • Boston Public Library, Main Branch at Copley Square
