Sledding is one of those outdoor activities that give winter a special touch, especially for the kids. While Buffalo and Western New York are pretty flat, there are some decent places to sled in our area. Most of these have come from suggestions of local residents—they may not be all be "legit" areas (i.e., don't blame us if someone yells at you).

- Amherst Middle School There is a hill behind the middle school that is especially nice for smaller children. The school is located at 55 Kings Highway, Amherst, NY 14226 .
- Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens Sledders have been seen on the small hill next to the Botanical Gardens near the parking lot.
- Delaware Park On the Shakespeare in the Park hill.
