The Belle Center is a nonprofit organization and community facility providing a range services to Buffalo's west side. Their vision:
"To provide quality comprehensive services in areas of education, training, recreation, and leisure time activities for children, youth, adults, senior citizens, and families living in the City of Buffalo."
The community center is named after Father Vincent L. Belle who was murdered near the site of the center in 1960 at age 37. The center is host, advocate and supporter for Buffalo Americorps.
