I-275 is a freeway which runs north south through the eastern side of Canton. It runs parallel to Haggerty Rd. The first stretch of the highway from Ford Rd to Schoolcraft Rd opened in 1975, it now stretches from I-75 in Monroe County to I-696.
The 275 Bike Path roughly follows the path of the highway.

Future Construction
There is a plan to connect Haggerty Rd directly to I-275 (in addition to Ford Rd) to alleviate traffic congestion at the intersection of Ford and Haggerty. It is contingent on a grant from the government to help pay for it.
