We meet on the second Tuesday of each month with dinner starting at 6:15 PM followed by the meeting at 7:00 PM.  The Auxiliary also joins us for dinner but meets in a seperate room.

Post 67 is involved with community projects as well as veterans, offering a number of childrens programs.  For example: Boys State; Student Trooper Program; Legion Baseball; NJROTC support at Cary High School; High School Oratorical Contest.  We of course help and assist veterans and their families.  Other functions we do are Memorial Day Ceremony at Hillcrest Cemetery, Color Guard-Honor Guard when requested, hold Bingo at the VA Hospital in Durham and other involvement.  The Auxiliary supports Girls State and works the Poppy Program where all funds go to support veterans in need.  Cary Post 67 also collects aluminum pull taps for the Ronald McDonald House in Durham.

Got a worn out American Flag you want to retire?  Drop it off at our Post Home at 8523 Chapel Hill Rd., Cary.  Several times a year we hold a dedicated Flag Disposal Ceremony according to American Legion guidelines, giving flags a proper disposal.

All veterans that qualify under the National Membership guidelines are encouraged to join Cary Post 67 and come to our meetings.  We need you and thank you for your service to this country.
