Judith Schorr was a long-time Highland Park resident, was instrumental in organizing a neighborhood watch campaign in Highland Park that helped transform the neighborhood from one full of drug houses and prostitution to what it is today.

Judith Schorr passed away in July 2014.

On August 21, 2014 the Highland Park Neighborhood Association and the Chattanooga Police Department will dedicate a Little Free Library in Highland Park in honor of Judith Schorr.
