The UNC Walk-Ons is a coed a cappella group from UNC-Chapel Hill. The group was founded in 2001 and is directed by and composed of UNC-CH students.

The UNC Walk-Ons do a variety of performances on and around UNC-CH’s campus. The group members perform in their signature Carolina blue sneakers. They have two end-of-semester concerts in the fall and spring and perform annually at Sunset Serenade, a concert showcasing UNC-CH’s a cappella groups on the eve of the first day of class. The group also performs on UNC-CH’s campus every Wednesday at 10:10 p.m. for their traditional “Wednesdays with the Walk-Ons.”

The group competes every other year in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA). In 2015, the Walk-Ons placed second in the ICCA quarterfinals and advanced to the regional semifinal in Gainesville, Florida. In 2017, the group placed third in the ICCA quarterfinals and won an award for best choreography.

The Walk-Ons released one EP titled “15” with Liquid 5th Studios in 2016 to celebrate its 15th anniversary and another self-produced EP titled “Step by Step” in 2014. “15” can be found on Spotify, iTunes, and Apple Music and “Step by Step” can be found on iTunes and Apple Music.
