Getting into Face is a book by photographer Bernard Colbert. It features performance artists and club kids JoJo Baby and Sal-E "putting on the goddess," i.e. transforming their faces and bodies with original makeup and costumes. They become gods, villains, creatures, astronauts, courtesans, and Michael Jacksons. The book takes place over a five-year period and overlaps with the powerful, beautiful Clive Barker documentary titled JoJo Baby.
