32nd St Subs was a long-standing staple in the community of Chico, CA.  Providing healthy, delicious and affordable Italian styles sandwiches for locals and visitors from all over the country.  Famous for its loyalty punch card that would provide patrons a free sandwich for every 9 sandwiches purchased, 32nd St subs was popular amongst budget conscious college students.

32nd St Subs was unfortunately closed in the spring of 2003. Many locals were surprised that the once thriving business had to close its doors.   It was rumored that a boycott lead by a handful of influential college students lead to the downfall of this eatery. Others noted that a menu change to charge an additional $1.50 for double meat on a footlong submarine sandwich was to blame. But ultimately it was discovered that college student Ben S. was creating and distributing fraudulent punch card, that significantly decreased revenue. This leading to the closing of its doors for the final time.
