Abraham Bidwell (born March 3, 1769, Stillwater, Saratoga, New York - died February, 4 1842, Darke County, Ohio) was John Bidwell's father. "...a farmer of no great means."

He married Abigail Benedict October 26, 1786 in Ballston, Saratoga, New York and had the following children with her:
