Bidwell Perk is a coffeehouse located in Central Chico. It was founded by two Chico State graduates who returned to the area after some years away. It was originally located across the street on E. 1st Avenue, and moved to the current location which allowed for more space for customers.
In addition to the standard coffee and espresso drinks, they have teas, Italian sodas and more. There are seasonal coffee drinks, such as pumpkin lattes in the fall. They sell whole coffee beans and gift items as well. Bidwell Perk has at least one variety of coffee bean that is both organic and fair trade. If you want something to eat with your coffee or tea, they offer both baked goods and standard lunch fare (sandwiches, salads, etc).
