Bob Mulholland of Chico is a member of the California Democratic Party Central Committee, and as such was a superdelegate to the 2008 Democratic Convention. He was publicly uncommitted.

He is the California Democratic Party's most senior advisor and long time chief spokesperson. He can often be seen as a commenter on CNN, and elsewhere.

He is married to Jane Dolan, long time member of the Butte County Board of Supervisors. Mulholland is a Vietnam Veteran.
