Brusie Funeral Home is a funeral home in Chico that has been family owned for three generations since 1942. It was originally owned by Warren Pope Brusie, along with his wife, Helen Brusie. The family business was later expanded in 1959, when Glen Oaks Memorial Park was opened by the Brusie family. Warren Albert Brusie, son of Warren Pope Brusie, worked with his father in the business until his father passed away in 1970, at which time he took over the business. He was later joined by his children, Marc in 1990 and Amy in 1992, in running the family business. Marc and Amy Brusie both became licensed funeral directors. The Brusies purchased Chico Cemetery and Bidwell Chapel in 1994.
