Casinos in the News
The Mechoopda tribe recently won a court case that allows them to build a casino at the intersection of Highway 99 and CA-149 close to Durham. Butte County is planning on appealing this decision as they feel that a casino in this area would lead to significant environmental impacts, as well as other impacts on the various cities in the county.
