Charles William Preusser (1 May 1944, Marin County, California - 6 October 2015, Chico, California), was a Chico State alumnus and historic figure in Chico. He had been an citizen activist and advocate for student issues for many years.

He was the son of Dr. Karl Richard Preusser and Marguerite House.

Charlie was the alumnus, who as a student, completed more units than any other student at CSU Chico. When the Admission and Records office switched to a new computer file system around 1992, the office tested the system by running Charlie Preusser's file with the premise that if the system worked with Preusser's file, it would work with any student file.

Preusser was also the only student to ever be president of two different social fraternities at CSU Chico.
