The Chico Cannabis Coalition was a CSU Chico student organization dedicated to education and decriminalization of marijuana. The CCC was a major participant in the Activists Against Apathy voter turnout events in the Free Speech Area. It was a large and influential student group at CSUC in the nineties, however the CCC has since dissolved. There are other organizations and groups in Chico that can be abbreviated by CCC.
- Protest of a bust in Mechoopda Hall 1995.
- Gathered over 1000 signatures for Compassionate Use Initiative — Proposition 215.
- After the infamous Whitney Hall Drug Bust, the CCC led a protest of about one hundred students into the University President's office demanding that the arrested students known as the "Chico 10" be released.
