Chipotle is a franchised chain of Mexican fast food restaurants with a location in Central Chico. They serve burritos, tacos, bowls, and other Mexican fare. The company prides itself in serving "naturally raised" meats (pork, chicken and beef) in their meals. Some vegetarians and vegans have found solace in their black beans.

Contrary to popular belief, Chipotle is not owned by McDonald's. The McDonald's company was once a majority owner of Chipotle, but has since sold all interest in the company and has had no ownership since 2006.
