The Dorothy Johnson Neighborhood Center is located in the heart of Chapmantown. The park and hall are used for community events throughout the year. They also house an after school program for elementary students, as well as activities and classes for seniors.

The Dorothy Johnson Neighborhood Center is part of the Chico Area Recreation District (CARD)
