EJ's Dogs & Subs is a small eatery in Central Chico specializing in the all-American hot dog. The park plaza eatery has two sizes of dogs to choose from: foot long and the slightly more expensive 1/4 pound "Great Dane". As expected, they offer many variations of dogs with assorted toppings such as chili and sauerkraut. The dogs can be bedded on white or wheat buns. In addition to hot dog fare, they have subs ranging from the meaty (meatballs) to vegetarian. Sides, which cost extra, include coleslaw or potato salad, an assortment of chips, and even candy bars. Food can be eaten inside or taken away.
