FoodMaxx is a discount warehouse grocery store in south Chico. You have to bag your own groceries here, but the prices are cheaper than standard full service grocery stores. There is also a Coinstar machine here that counts your coins and turns them into gift cards or e-certificates for free.
It is owned by Save Mart Supermarkets, which is a family owned grocery chain based in Modesto.
