The fun zone is a chain of pizza restaurants that was founded in San Jose in 1977 with a location in North Chico. It is a combination restaurant and arcade, with an emphasis on entertainment for families with small children. It is a common place for children's birthday parties to be held, as there are many games to play and animatronic characters that put on shows.
They went out of business largely because their pizza was horrible. It was probably the only pizza place where people left the leftover pizza on the table. The originally was CEC but soon was changed.
