Invitation to Hoganpalooza

HoganPalooza is the nickname given to the all day music festival held on February 16, 2008, in memory of Matt Hogan, Chico music icon who passed away on January 13, 2008.

The event was held at the Chico Elks Lodge. Attendance was estimated at over 500 people. Food and catering was organized by Mary Daguerre. The music schedule was organized by Marcel Daguerre. Matt's sister, Mary Johnston, sold memorial posters as a fundraiser for a memorial fund set up in Matt's name. The fund will pay for bands to perform at veteran's halls and retirement centers.

Friends hope to make it an annual event.
