Joseph Calm Kennedy (b. 1813, Pennsylvania, - d. July 12 1887, Washington D.C.) was Annie Bidwell's father.

He was Superintendent of the Census, a lawyer, and a bank broker. He was stabbed to death by John Dailey, a laborer, who was convinced that Kennedy had cheated him in some earlier business transaction. Dailey was judged to be insane.

He married Catherine Morrisson October 22, 1834, in Meadville, Crawford, Pennsylvania and had the following children:
