The Joshua Tree Apartment complex features a clubhouse with fitness room (including treadmill, elliptical machine, weight machine, and exercise bike), pool table, wi-fi internet access, and TV; tennis courts; basketball courts; one-site laundry; pool and jacuzzi. Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis (depends on the age of the carpet in the apartment) with an extra deposit. The maintenance team is very responsive to problems, and the office is actually open slightly later than many other complexes (until 6PM four nights a week). With the exception of the weekend of Chico's annual AirFest, the complex is very quiet, despite its close proximity to Highway 99 and various other busy Chico roads.

Rent varies based on apartment configuration; however, rent for a one bedroom apartment in a single story building is currently $615 per month (as of May 2008).

To find the apartments, take the Esplanade north, turn right onto East Lassen Avenue, and the complex will be on your left after you go under the underpass. Alternate route: Take East Avenue north, turn left onto East Lassen Avenue, and the complex will be on your left after the Tower Mart.
