June 3rd, 2014 Primary election candidate Larry Wahl:

Larry Wahl is the incumbent candidate for Butte County Supervisor district 2, which he won in the June 2010 Primary election by defeating long-time supervisor Jane Dolan by 277 votes.

Wahl was on the Chico Planning Commission from 1997-2000 and a member of Chico City Council from 2001-2010. In 2004, he was fined ($12,000) by the FPPC for 7 violations of the Fair Political Practices Act (including failure to disclose economic interests and failure "to disqualify himself from making planning commission decisions involving local developers that had each contributed in excess of $250 to his city council campaign during the preceding twelve months").

In 2011, Wahl was back in the news for his involvement in Chico's June 2011 special election for Measure A (which would have moved Chico City Council elections from November to June had it been approved by voters -in only received 32% of the vote).
