The Monkey Puzzle Tree, common name for Araucaria araucana, originated from Chile and is now a somewhat popular, yet reasonably rare, ornamental coniferous tree. It has very spiky leaves and so it is not recommended for climbing. See the Wikipedia article for additional information.
