Mossy Creek, based in Chico, Ca., is Northern California's musical contribution to the growing national popularity of Americana music. Formed by combining major players from the area's best musical groups, Mossy Creek is a virtual all-star band. Founded by Pat Haley (banjo), and led by his daughter, show-stopping vocalist Erin Haley, Mossy Creek combines award winning songs and clever arrangements with killer pick'n and a "leave them wanting more" stage presence. This high-energy seven-piece band seems, at times, bigger than the stage itself.

Mossy Creek features Kim Gimbal on mandolin, who not only sings baritone but also handles the clever patter between songs. On guitar, dobro and vocals is Dean Mott, one of the primary arrangers in the group. On fiddle and vocals is one of the nations top players, Christine Hogan and on bass is classically trained Matt Christensen. Last but not least (unless you're talking size of instrument) is harmonica virtuoso Bob Littell. Nationally known for his work both on stage and in the studio, Bob adds a bounce and energy that never fails to turn heads.

Mossy Creek received the Emerging Artist Award at the Bluegrassin' in the Foothill in Plymouth, Ca in 2005. They won the People's Choice Country/Bluegrass awards and Favorite Overall Band in the 2006 Cammies (Chico Area Music Awards) and Favorite Country/Bluegrass Band in 2008. Their original instrumental, Haley's Comet, placed 4th out of over 15,000 entries in the International Songwriting Contest in 2008.
